If we look at the upcoming movies, 2017 seems to be a good year. There are many big and interesting Bollywood movies are in the line to release in 2017 and one among them is Rangoon.
Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Rangoon’ is a period movie that will hit the theaters in February. The first and much awaited trailer of the movie is reported to release on 6th January, 2017. The trailer launch gives a grand beginning to the year.
As far as movie details are concerned, it seems that the makers have vowed to not utter a single word about the film before trailer launch. The movie has completely different concept which has been covered very less by only a few directors. The national award winner director, Vishal Bhardwaj has set the movie against the backdrop of World War II as Casa Blanca.
When talking about the well-researched and less covered topic of the movie, Vishal Bharadwaj shared, “The wave of female heroism of 1930 and 1940 was a unique phenomenon. Very little of this wave is captured in any of our recent films or literature. We had a team that extensively researched this period since the narrative of Rangoon is set in this era and in this milieu.”
Playing the character on the lines of Fearless Nadia, Kangana Ranaut is once again ready to prove her mettle with other leading stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. This is the first the three actors are working together. So it will be great for the audience as well to see them work together and create their magic.

I am very excited to present the trailer to the audience. Vishal is an incredible director and one will get to experience a plethora of emotions as his vision translates on the big screen.”
