Rahul Vaidya shares an old interview video of late singer Lata Mangeshkar, post funeral

Rahul Vaidya attended Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral. Shared a video of an interview with the latter along with a heart-melting caption.

Lata Mangeshkar, a great vocalist, died recently, and the country has been in grief. She died of multi-organ failure at the Breach Candy hospital yesterday at the age of 92. Actor Rahul Vaidya, who attended her memorial service, says he still can’t believe she’s gone.

Rahul Vaidya, recently posted a throwback video of him interviewing Lata Mangeshkar on his Instagram post with a heart-melting caption.

The caption read, “Om Shanti, Lata Ji you have left us but your voice will remain till the time the world exists. I believe that the gods wanted u to sing for them so they took you. Beyond sad..live happily here after maa Saraswati.”

The video of Rahul’s interview with Lata Mangeshkar was from 2013 as a part of TV channel’s programme which was connected with Kedarnath’s flood relief.

But I recall being extremely late for the interview and nearly turning pale. I was under a great deal of stress, yet she was incredibly lovely and accommodating.  She made me feel completely at ease.” said Rahul in an media interview.

Apart from Rahul, several other celebrities from the industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shradhha Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, and others, attended the funeral. Thousands of people gathered on the route leading from Lata ji’s residence to Shivaji Park to pay their respects to India’s Nightingale.
