Lockdown sucks, but we have no other way to protect ourselves from the Corona pandemic. After liquor shops, I guess beauty parlours and saloons are the places that people want to be opened. But remember these are the places with the highest risk of infection. Be it the use of same products or closeness to the clients when providing services, risk of getting infection is very high.

While we are stuck at home, we no access to beauty parlours for our regular skin care regime, we also have a great chance to learn some natural tips to get glowing skin. You can now take out the products waiting in your almirah to be used or you can simply take a round to your kitchen. This time not for cooking but to collect the products to make your skin look fresh, healthy and glowing.

Here are some easy and helpful tips to take care of your skin like a professional:

Multani Mitti pack

As the summer season has already started, people with oily skin must have started facing problems. If you don’t want to use chemical laden products on your face, you can make a homemade face pack with multanimitti and chandan. This natural face pack not just helps you get rid of acne but also helps you get healthy skin.

Cucumber, tomato and potato face pack

The best part about this face pack is that you can turn this mixture of all these three products in a cold face pack by putting it into the ice tray. Just take out one cube every morning and apply it on your face. Wash your face after a 15-20 minutes and get the glowing skin without a visit to the parlour.

Use face and body mist

Working from home seemed like a treat earlier which is now not less than a punishment. With all the other tasks sitting at one place for hours seems more hectic. During WFH, you can’t get breaks like you get in office but you can at least do something to feel fresh. Body and face mist are the good way to make your skin hydrated fresh. You can use Natural Bath & Body Wild Wonder Body Mist to get the soothing fragrance and feel great.

Semolina and gram flour pack

Dead skin is one of the common problems faced when the season changes. You can easily get rid of this problem by using a few ingredients from your kitchen. Just mix half a teaspoon of semolina with one teaspoon of gram flour (besan) and curd to make a smooth paste. Apply this on your face and make your skinglow naturally. If you have oily skin, replace curd with rose water to make the face pack.

Turmeric and honey paste

This easy and quick face pack helps you get even skin tone with a natural glow. Mix 1 teaspoon turmeric with a spoon of honey, yogurt and lemon. Apply the pack on your face and neck and leave for 15-20 minutes. Wash it with cold water and see the magic. The best part about this face pack is that it is equally effective for both boys and girls.

Stay hydrated

Don’t know about you, but I always forget to take water while busy in my work, which I know is not good for health. Taking enough water is essential both for our body and skin. Make sure you take at least 8 glasses of water. If you don’t like regular water, you can try fruit infused water. Simply add fruits of your choice like watermelon, mint, cucumber etc. in the water bottle and keep it near you to drink it at regular intervals.

Take healthy food

What you eat has a clear impact on your skin. So, make sure you include healthy food items in your diet. Increase your intake of fruits, salad, grains and leafy vegetables. Stay active and healthy.

And the most important tip – even if the government allows beauty parlours to function, avoid any visit for some time. No matter how hygienic the place is, chances of getting infection are the highest there.
