We all love snowfall and wish to stay in chilling areas during winters to enjoy it, right? But winter is not just about snowfall and delicious dishes made especially in this season. It brings many skin issues and flakes on the nose and forehead is one of the major problems faced by women.
If you are not able to get rid of the problem even after changing your face wash and cream, here are a few easy and simple tips to help you treat flaky skin around nose.
Peel Off Masks
This is an effective remedy to improve the flaky skin around nose and forehead. Along with the peel off mask, you should also use oatmeal, honey and other products that keep your skin hydrated and moisturized throughout the day.
Olive Oil
Olive oil has skin-nourishing acids and helps you get rid of flaky skin. All you need is to massage the affected area with warm olive oil. Make sure you rub the oil properly to help it penetrate the skin and lock the moisture. You can also use olive oil as an exfoliating mask by mixing it with the salt and rubbing the flakes to get a smooth nose.
Cucumber
We all are aware of the soothing benefits of cucumber and I guess everyone must have tried it at least once to treat dark circles. Cucumber has natural astringent property that keeps your skin hydrated and the Vitamin C repairs other skin problems. Grate some cucumber to scrub the peeling nose and forehead. Leave it for some time and wash the face with warm water after a few minutes.
Aloe Vera Gel
We all love basking in the sun in chilling winters to feel better but not everyone is lucky enough to enjoy the sunbath. Some girls get sunburn too easily. Sadly I am also one of them. It is not just my nose but around eyes and forehead as well where I start to get flaky skin on getting exposed to the sun for longer. The best remedy for those getting flaky skin due to sunburn is Aloe Vera gel. It naturally heals the problem just in a few days.
Honey and Oatmeal Pack
Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice to make a face pack. Apply it on the affected area and let it sit there for 5-10 minutes. Scrub the past in light circular motions to gently remove the dead skin from your nose. Wash the scrub with warm water and apply a moisturizing lotion to keep skin hydrated.
Milk
It is an amazing product to deal with the flaky and peeling skin. Milk has natural moisturizing properties as well as other beneficial elements like protein for a soothing effect and lactic acid to control irritation. Just soak a washcloth or cotton ball in the ice-cold whole milk and keep it on the affected area for 10 minutes. Wash the face with clear water to get smooth and beautiful skin naturally.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer with various other benefits and makes a perfect remedy for peeling skin. You can directly apply the oil on the affected area to hydrate and moisturize the skin.
